How can we stay safe in this world of danger and paradox?

Dear guided friend -

How can we stay safe, in this world of danger and paradox?

I asked our Guides for help on this question, in light of the deadly events happening right now.

The main message

Usually when I hear messages from The Guides, They speak in short, clear sentences. This is what I heard first:

Slow down.

Listen.

Believe your senses.

Use your five physical senses to access your sixth sense.

Use all your gifts.

The context

We live in a world of paradoxes.

Don’t be blind to danger.

And yet, don’t be blinded by danger.

The world is a dangerous place.

And yet, we need to live here.

People can be scary.

And yet, we can help each other.

Protect Yourself

This is not the moment to take unnecessary risks with your personal safety.

If you don’t have to drive at night, don’t. Wait until tomorrow.

If a road makes your hair stand up, take the longer, safer street. There is usually another route.

If a person makes you feel nervous or uncomfortable, as a threat to you, avoid them for now.

We sometimes take the riskier direction because it’s “more convenient.”

But if that direction puts you in harm’s way it’s not more convenient, it’s dangerous.

Protect Others

If you can help someone who is vulnerable, do it.

Now is the perfect time to shield the less powerful.

If you see a youth without shelter, share any food you have on you.

If you see a man following a woman, for example, and you get a bad feeling about the situation, call out to her as if you know her. Engage her in friendly conversation, while you check on her and warn her.

Now is the time to take action and use your strength to help the weak.

Use your Psychic Senses for Safety

Which of your 5 senses is the strongest? Taste, touch, smell, sight, or hearing?

I asked this recently on my Facebook page and received dozens of answers.

Use your strongest physical sense to develop your psychic senses. Use your psychic senses to keep you safe.

Clairalience, the psychic sense of smell: If you smell something rotten or awful as you walk towards a shop or restaurant, follow this sense. Don’t go in.

Clairvoyance, the psychic sense of sight: If the room suddenly seems to change color. If you see a word hovering in mid-air. If you notice someone’s facial expression flicker with a look of evil, believe it. Don’t do business with them.

Clairaudience, the psychic sense of hearing: if you “mis-hear” someone saying something terrible, believe what you heard.

Clairsentience, the psychic sense of feeling: if you get sick to your stomach when the phone pings, don’t look right away. Wait for the message and text back when you’re ready.

Clairgustance, the psychic sense of taste: if the food you’re eating suddenly tastes rotten, put it down. Look around. Is that message just about the food? Or is it about something that’s happening near you?

Notice the signs

If you’re not sure if a situation is dangerous, use my free Urban Angel Cards on YouTube to ask specific questions.

If you’re getting green lights, go forward with confidence.

If you’re getting red lights, don’t buzz through the intersection. Stop, seriously stop.

My Urban Angel cards are now available on paper! You can find them on Amazon.

I’ll also be bringing the Urban Angel cards with me to my sessions in Joburg in July. Bookings are open now!

The last word

Ultimately, we can’t hide away in our homes in a state of paranoia.

There are hugs, flowers, conversations, and parties out there!

Life is filled with beauty that far outweighs the danger.

And yet, we need to be wise — in order to stay alive and enjoy that beauty.

Be alert.

Take your messages seriously.

Help others.

Focus on what you can control, and leave the rest.

Peace,

Shan
